Nami Island
There are so many ways to go to Nami Island, you can avail tour packages, take a bus or take the subway. We chose the subway.
How to go there:
From our guesthouse (in Myeong-dong)
- From Myeong-dong Station, take LINE 4 train heading to the direction of Chungmuro Station to get to Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station.
- When arriving at Dongdaemun History & Culture Park Station, change to LINE 2 and take the train heading towards Sindang Station to get to Wangsimni Station.
- When arriving at Wangsimni Station, change to JUNGANG LINE and take the train heading towards Cheong-nyangni to get to Mangu Station.
- When arriving at Mangu Station, change to KYEONGCHUN LINE and take the train heading towards Galmae Station to get to Gapyeong Station, which is our destination.

We tried to leave our guesthouse at 8am in the morning, well, I said we tried, LOL. We're in myeong-dong subway at 8:40am and we arrived in Gapyeong station at exactly, 10:45am, wow, so we slept on our way to Gapyeong Station...haha
At Gapyeong station, we ask for the schedule/brochure of the tour bus at Tourist information. I've read the the bus arrive on time. And it's true, so you better follow the schedule or you'll end up waiting for another hour for the next bus :)
At 11:10am, we pay the ticket for 6,000won each to the driver. Note that you need to keep the ticket if your planning to go around. Just present the ticket to the driver when aboarding the bus :)
So luck was not into us, because it started to rain, well mist. :(
Lesson learned, always check the weather. As for us, we didn't bring our umbrellas, good thing, we have our bubble jacket, but still, hehe.
After 10mins, we arrived at the bus station of Nami. You need to walk for about 5mins, (we just follow them, haha) to board to the sea craft, but you need to pay for the Entry Visa first, 8,000won each for foreigner, we just presented our passports, just in case :)
Ok, so even its raining, there's still a lot of tourists, haha..it will take, 5mins or less to Nami Island :)
So here we are, strolling and taking pictures :P
Of Course, we need to refuel, and its already past 1pm, hehe, so we look for something to eat before we resume walking around :P
After an hour or so, we need to head to the bus station heading to Petite France, well we weren't able to catch the 2:20pm ride, because we're still in Nami, so we decided to leave for 3:20pm bus (I know it's too late, and we don't know if we will be able to see morning calm at this weather :(
So we wait, hehe
After 40-50mins, we arrived at Petite France, the ticket cost, 8,000won, but there's a discount coupon for 25% or 2,000won on this site, you need to print and present this when paying your entrance fee.
Petite France is just small, you can look around for 1hour, so you can head to your next destination.
So next, Morning Calm garden.Unfortunately, the driver told us that the last bus from Morning calm will be 6pm, instead of 7:30pm, and it's already 5:30pm, so we weren't able to see the garden, and just wait for the bus to go to Changpyeong Station.
From Changpyeong Station, we head to Seoul to Myeong-dong, and decided to try another street food :) happy tummy
