Next is the Gion, where the Yasaka shrine and Marayumi Park located
How to get there:
- Yasaka Shrine can be reached by bus from Kyoto Station in about 20 minutes. Take number 100 or 206 and get off at Gion bus stop. The closest train stations are Gion Shijo Station on the Keihan Line and Kawaramachi Station on the Hankyu Line. Alternatively, the 20-30 minute walk from Kiyomizudera through the narrow lanes of the Higashiyama District to Yasaka Shrine is highly recommended.
- Maruyama Park can be reached by bus from Kyoto Station in about 20 minutes. Take number 100 or 206 and get off at Gion bus stop. The park is just behind Yasaka Shrine.
It's already rush hour, so the traffic got worst. I'm not sure if I can still go to the Yasaka Shrine. But I still tried. I rode a bus going to Kyoto station, then ride Bus #206.
Yasaka Shrine...
Need to go back to the 9hours hostel.
I ride the bus#4 tot kawaramachi station. But when I got off, the place was quite different. So I asked from the convenience store, on how I can go to Exit #10. And I'm back.
I took my luggage, and went to Kyoto station.
The overnight bus going to Tokyo (which is the Willer Bus). I'm too early for my departure schedule, so I waited for 2hours.
I already saw the staffs of Willer bus wearing pink jackets. So it's time to board...departure will be 23:05 going to Tokyo 😉
